10 year gap anniversary!

They say to celebrate your successes and failures. While this blog could have probably turned out to be a full-blown magazine or a channel of some sort, it didn’t.

But what did happen was something really special in my life over the past two months that transpired the resurrection.

A second chance at this blog. A chance to redeem my love for writing and about the things I care about. Godspeed!

The Internship !!

Ericsson-India

Bagged my internship at Ericsson.

It was during  december 2013 when i was applying for an internships to all the big shots and Ericsson was one among them.

I still look at that moment when i got the call letter for an interview. It was perhaps a dream at that second and i was happy, really happy.

The interview was one of a unique one, infact it was an excellent talk, a really long talk in which i was explaining all y ideas regarding networking and how we could make things better for future, very realistic one.

Really looking forward for a great time …. Chennai ….. 3 months of awesomeness 😀

I was giving a seminar on Design and Analysis of algorithms today and while I was teaching, I was suddenly struck by a quote and I told it immediately to the class

” It’s nothing like a particular subject is hard or easy ….

For every subject there lies a History and a Mystery … You just have to find the chemistry between them to get going.”

NSS Camp – Fun | Frolic | Experience | Memory

So this weekend GITAM University took the initiative of conducting a camp for educating school children ,fishermen and women from the slums of Jalaripeta in Vishakhapatnam. Represnting the National Service Scheme, GITAM University unit, the department of Computer Science Engineering set forth the campaign headed by SVG Reddy sir on 28th and 29th March 2014.

The 2 day camp was worth an experience. We were in a government school teaching the little kids the basics of maths, teaching them computer handling basics, showing them some simple science experiments and the best part is playing and singing along with them. Truly touching moments as we interacted along with little and poor children of the slums.

Saree painting, mat making and pot making were demonstrated by the girls which was indeed a great hit. Hundreds of women crowd from the surrounding area came and witnessed the beauty of crafts which was displayed by the girls.

Boys did their part by showing them laptop demonstrations, teaching Photoshop to the youth, conducting elocution competitions to the children was again a great event.

The 2 day camp ended up leaving behind a good memory.

NASA to launch robotic missions to make Water on Moon, Oxygen on Mars

NASA is planning for two kick ass robotic missions, one to make water on moon in 2018 and the other to make Oxygen in Mars in 2020.

The main attempt is to make sustainable life in these two planets. Its called ISRU or “living off the land”.

The first in space test is targeted in 2018. NASA will launch a rover with instruments to scout for hydrogen, drill out samples, heat them and scan for water vapor. Vapor could be re-condensed to form a drop of water.

The second ISRU experiment, is a device, which would pull CO2 from atmosphere, filter out dust etc and prepare O2.

These will surely be worth a wait.
